You make a good team, and so do we

Hey, we're Bridget & Ryan!

How we went from big weddings to big adventures

(And why we'll never go back)

Before we learned eloping was an option, we actually started as traditional wedding photographers. And to be totally honest, we never loved it. The days felt like a blur of strict timelines, rushed portraits, and couples who barely had a moment alone together. We’d spend hours photographing what was supposed to be one of the best days of their lives, yet most of the time our couples looked stressed, exhausted, and ready for it to be over. And we felt it too. We loved documenting love stories, but the kind of weddings we were part of didn’t feel like love stories, they felt like productions.

At the time, “elopements” weren’t what they are today. Especially not in Maine, where we started our business. But we knew two things for sure: we loved the outdoors, and we loved photographing people in it. So we took a big risk, scrapped our traditional wedding business completely, and set out to create something different.

We wanted to show couples that their wedding day didn’t have to follow anyone else’s rules and that it could be intentional, relaxed, and rooted in experience. What started as short, quiet ceremonies on mountaintops grew into full-day elopement adventures that center around connection, intention, and landscapes.

These days, we help couples plan wedding experiences that actually feel like them: relaxed, meaningful, and full of adventure. Because your wedding day should be the best day ever… not the most stressful one.

What we believe in

From the way we plan to the way we photograph, everything we do comes back to these core values

01.

Love is Love

Without hesitation, pause, or question, we believe everyone deserves to have their love story celebrated exactly as they are. You and your love are celebrated with pride here.

02.

Leave no trace

The landscapes we photograph are more than just backdrops. We follow Leave No Trace principles and encourage our couples to do the same, helping preserve these wild places for future adventurers.
03.

Experience First

We believe the best photos come when you’re fully present. That’s why we help you plan an experience that feels easy. Because how it felt matters just as much as how it looked.

04.

Art with meaning

We don’t just show up to take
pretty photos. As a team, we see your day from every angle, capturing both the epic landscapes and the quiet moments. Together, we create art that feels true to the experience.

I worried that having photographers follow us around all day would feel awkward, but once we met Bridget and Ryan I instantly felt comfortable and at ease.”

When we're not photographing elopements we are...

When we're not taking photos you can find us...

Usually outside: hiking before sunrise, skiing through powder, exploring new trails, or planning our next adventure with Aspen, our pup.

The outdoors isn’t just where we work, it’s where we feel most at home. Whether we’re scouting ceremony locations or chasing golden light for fun, this lifestyle keeps us inspired and connected to what we love most: helping couples experience nature in an unforgettable way.
